WINAMINE TETA
Triethylenetetramine
TETA is a highly reactive aliphatic polyamine and one of WINBOND’s key specialty amine products. It can be used directly as an epoxy curing agent or as an important raw material for epoxy amine adducts and modified curing-agent formulations.
Its high amine functionality and reactivity make it particularly suitable for fast ambient-temperature epoxy curing and applications where rapid strength development is required. Industry technical data also consistently identifies TETA as a reactive epoxy curing agent and accelerator.
Key Features
- High epoxy reactivity
- Fast ambient-temperature curing
- Multi-amine functionality
- Can be used directly as an epoxy hardener
- Important building block for epoxy amine adducts and modified curing agents
Aliphatic Amines
Aliphatic specialty amines generally provide high reactivity and versatile amine functionality. Depending on molecular structure, they can serve as direct epoxy curing agents, catalysts, crosslinkers or intermediates for modified curing agents and other chemical products.
WINAMINE DMAPA
N,N-Dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine
DMAPA is a versatile functional amine used primarily as a chemical intermediate and catalyst rather than only as a conventional direct epoxy hardener. Its combination of primary and tertiary amine functionality makes it useful in curing-agent synthesis and catalytic applications.
- Curing-agent intermediate
- Epoxy polymerization catalyst
- Polyurethane catalyst
- Surfactant synthesis
WINAMINE DMAPAPA
N'-(3-Aminopropyl)-N,N-dimethyl-1,3-propanediamine
DMAPAPA contains primary, secondary and tertiary amine functionality, allowing it to provide both curing and catalytic activity in epoxy systems. It is particularly useful where relatively fast cure and multifunctional amine behavior are required.
- Multiple amine functionalities
- High epoxy reactivity
- Fast cure capability
- Curing and catalytic functions
- Suitable for coatings, adhesives and modified curing agents
WINAMINE N4
N,N'-Bis(3-aminopropyl)ethylenediamine
N4 is a multifunctional aliphatic polyamine with several reactive amine sites, making it useful as an epoxy curing agent, crosslinker and raw material for modified curing-agent development.
- Epoxy curing
- Crosslinking
- Modified curing-agent production
- Coatings and adhesives
- Polymer and chemical synthesis
Cycloaliphatic Amines
Cycloaliphatic amines are useful raw materials and curing-agent components where formulators need a balance between reactivity, processing time and cured-system performance. Compared with simple short-chain aliphatic amines, different cycloaliphatic structures can provide more controlled cure behavior and are commonly selected for coatings, adhesives, composites and performance-oriented epoxy systems.
WINAMINE CHAPA
N-(3-Aminopropyl)cyclohexylamine
A cycloaliphatic amine combining a cyclohexyl structure with reactive primary and secondary amine functionality. It can be used as an epoxy curing-agent component and as a building block for modified amine formulations.
- Reactive cycloaliphatic amine
- Suitable for epoxy curing-agent formulation
- Useful in ambient- and heat-cure systems
- Applicable to coatings, adhesives and composite formulations
WINAMINE MCDA
Methyldiaminocyclohexane
MCDA is a low-viscosity cycloaliphatic diamine with a more moderate cure profile than highly reactive short-chain aliphatic amines.
- Very low viscosity
- Moderate cure rate
- Longer working-time potential
- Suitable for epoxy curing-agent formulation
- Applicable to coatings, adhesives, composites and construction systems
WINAMINE DMDC
3,3'-Dimethyl-4,4'-diaminodicyclohexylmethane
DMDC is a cycloaliphatic diamine for performance-oriented epoxy formulations, particularly where thermal, chemical and moisture resistance are important.
- Cycloaliphatic diamine structure
- Thermal-performance potential
- Chemical and moisture resistance
- Good suitability for structural formulations
- Applicable to coatings, adhesives and composites
