It is pleased to announce that Winbond new plant will be officially launched in mid-to-late May 2023. The annual production capacity is expected to reach 40,000 tons. It is worth mentioning that the new plant is equipped with a single unit with the largest production line capacity in China.

 

The new plant mainly produces anhydride curing agents, the main products are: THPA, HHPA, MTHPA, MHHPA etc. Anhydride curing agent is less volatile, less irritating to the skin, and low in toxins. After curing with epoxy resin, the color is lighter, the electrical properties are excellent, and the electrolysis performance compare with amine curing agent are more prominent. Also, the cured product volume shrinkage is small, and the heat resistance is better. However, due to the low activity, the curing agent at room temperature is slower and needs to be heated and cured, and generally requires high temperature to cure.

 

What's more, the new factory is only 30km away from the raw material factory, which greatly reduces transportation costs and also improves the price competitiveness of winbond products.
